What We Do
The Lola Stein Institute has three roles; it works as a curriculum incubator, publisher and mentor.
As a curriculum incubator, the LSI lab school is The Toronto Heschel School.
As a publisher, LSI produces think: the Lola Stein Institute Journal.
As a mentor LSI fields an inventory of workshops called Food for Thought and an ad hoc consultancy practice.
The Toronto Heschel School
The Toronto Heschel School is a pluralistic Jewish day school from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 in Toronto, Canada. http://torontoheschel.org
Think: the Lola Stein Institute Journal
Think: the Lola Stein Institute Journal (also known as think magazine) is a semi-annual publication with articles on integrated Jewish education, critical themes on raising children today, and the interactivity of school and community.
Food for Thought
Food for Thought is an inventory of teacher training workshops on learning through the arts; workshop disciplines and themes interweave Jewish studies, literacy, numeracy, history and all the arts across the curriculum.
